愛心資助毛孩計劃
Monthly Sponsorship Programme
There are some furries who are left to wander the streets, living precariously day-to-day, struggling to survive in rural bushes and eking out an existence in urban corners, longing for even a hint of warmth, especially during heavy rains or harsh winters. Some furries are chained by iron shackles on the roadside, their necks chafed raw by the scorching hot metal in the blistering sun, trembling in fear of the darkness, howling winds, and flashing lightning during rainstorms. Others are trapped in cramped cages, their limbs unable to stretch, forced to eat, drink, and defecate in the same confined space, cohabiting with insects and pathogens, never having seen the blue sky and white clouds throughout their entire lives.
While some furries are fortunate to be rescued and quickly find loving families to accompany them for life, many more are less lucky - they may not have striking appearances, but are burdened by old age, illness, and lingering psychological scars. Home For Homeless Dog provides temporary shelter for the former, helping them find forever homes, and creates a warm, nurturing environment for the latter, hoping to bring them comfort and joy.
However, the love and power of HFHD alone is woefully inadequate. We desperately need the support of the community. We believe the public is kind-hearted and full of love, grieving for the plight of stray and abandoned animals and willing to lend a hand, even if they cannot directly adopt. That's why we've introduced the Monthly Sponsorship Programme, where benevolent donors can choose different sponsorship plans to contribute as they are able. All funds go directly toward food, medical care, and training for the dogs. We sincerely hope to hear from you, so that these furry companions can enjoy healthy, happy lives with your support and blessings!

AliHey there, I'm Ali! I'm kind of a big deal at the animal shelter, haha. But even with all my fame, I still don't have a forever home yet! I'm one super hungry little furry. I'm really worried the shelter might run out of food to feed me one day, so remember to keep sponsoring me, ok? Don't let the shelter down, and don't let me starve! | Wai Wai"I owe everything I have to the folks at the shelter. When they first found me, my hind legs were in rough shape—I couldn’t walk straight, let alone run or swim. But look at me now; I’m a pro at all of it! With my big muscular frame and chill personality, I’ve become the shelter’s top ambassador for their education programs. I get to share my story at talks and workshops, inspiring others. Thanks to your support, I can look my best before each event. Gotta keep up appearances, right? " | PigletMy name's Piglet! I'm one of the OG residents here at the shelter. I gotta say, I'm a pretty smart cookie and as loyal as they come. I just love sticking by April's side, you know? Sometimes I even get to help out, going to schools and community centres to do life education ambassador gigs. Ain't that something? Really feel like I'm making a difference for us vulnerable pups. Thanks a ton for your support, by the way. Can't tell you how much it means to me! |

Wei WeiHeya, I’m Wei Wei (維維)! Everyone says I'm one of the friendliest and most gorgeous pups around. I’ve been a globetrotter since birth but ended up at the shelter at 3 months old. The volunteers, especially dear April, say I bring joy to everyone I meet. They think I’ll find my forever home soon, but I’ve been to many adoption events without luck. I'm a bit disappointed but still loving life here! If you could sponsor me with monthly donations for yummy chicken treats, I’d shower you with kisses | Hung DaiHey there, I'm Hung Dai (熊大). The HFHD rescued me when I was a little guy, and I found a home quickly because I’m super cute. But good things don’t always last. My owner passed me to a friend who wanted a guard dog, and I ended up chained outside for two months, facing sun and rain. Rough stuff right? Luckily, HFHD rescued me again, but I missed my chance at a forever home. Now, I’m patiently waiting for the right family to come along and give me a shot! | Egg YolkWell, I’m Mama Egg Yolk (蛋黃媽媽)! I’ve heard about Wai Wai's (威威) incredible work as chief life education ambassador. As a gold ambassador since 2019, I’ve proudly spread the message of animal welfare. I have a harrowing tale, too. When I was a new mom, my family of seven was caught by AFCD. Thankfully, volunteers rescued us and brought us to HFHD. Now I’m thriving and happy, and I’ll keep advocating for precious animals. With compassionate voices like mine, , we can truly make a difference! |
SashaI’m Sasha (莎莎), an 8-year-old Caucasian Shepherd. In 2023, my owner abandoned me during a big typhoon, leaving me to wander the streets. Fortunately, HFHD took me in! I’m a big girl, but I’m sweet and friendly. My size and age might scare off potential adopters, which is why I’m still waiting for forever home. Caring for me requires time, effort, and resources—I eat a lot and need grooming for my thick coat. I’d appreciate your support until my perfect family finds me! Every little bit helps! | Mei MeiI was adopted once, but my owners trapped me at home, never taking me for walks or play. They yelled at me all the time, which terrified me. So scared, I started hurting myself and chewing off my own fur, leading them to take me to HFHD. Now, and I love playing with my doggy friends. The volunteers are gentle and kind but I'm still afraid of strangers due to my past abuse, making it hard to hope for a new family. That's why I need your continued support to feel safe and comfortable here. | Fa FaBig sis April has been taking care of me since she helped place me at the shelter. When I was just a five-month-old puppy, I got hit by a car and was left by the roadside for two days before a PGRS volunteer found me and named me Fa Fa. That’s probably why my head is a bit crooked and I tend to veer when I walk. But I’m a tough cookie and love zooming around, building my muscles! Thank you so much for your support—kind people like you give us a safe, loving home. Keep being awesome! Woof! |
Che ZaiI'm a big and mighty pup named Che Zai (車仔, means 'Little Car'), and no, you didn't get my name wrong. It really fits me as I'm like a little car - just love to play rough, zooming around and bumping into things. I even ended up accidentally hurting my little sis once during our wild roughhousing. The funding made a big difference, it let me able to take some etiquette classes. Now I've learnt how to play and socialise with both human and doggies properly. Trying to become a real gentleman pup. | Sai MuiI'm one of the pups from ""Yau Tong 9 Babies."" I once had a home lined up, but they treated me like a toy and passed me on to someone else. Can you believe it? Luckily, a kind volunteer from HFHD rescued me before things got worse. Now, I'm ready to find my forever home! In the meantime, I’ll be so grateful for your support—it means I can enjoy tasty treats while I wait. You all are the best! | Dong Zai"I’m so lucky that April saved me and helped me get better. Without her, I might have been taken out by those nasty maggots! I’m grateful for your support to cover my food and medicine costs, which means I can enjoy my favorite chicken meals again. I’m a well-behaved and friendly pup, calm and content to hang out with my owner all day. But you know how it goes—“waiting and waiting, but never finding that someone.” When will someone finally adopt me? For now, I’m counting on you all for my care. |
Cho ChaatI actually had 9 little ones when I was just a pup! Luckily, my good friend April helped find homes for all of them, and they’re all happy and thriving now. As for me, I’m a bit of a homebody and content to stay at the shelter. I’m so grateful for your support; it means I can live here comfortably with food, shelter, and all my needs taken care of. I spend my days relaxing and using my special powers to send good vibes to the other rescue pups, hoping they’ll find loving families too. | Bui BuiI'm the one and only superstar Bui Bui (貝貝), the one who inspired April to make life-changing transformations - by establishing Home For Homeless Dog, dedicated to rescuing those poor pups poisoned up in the mountains! I hope you'll keep supporting our work! | Sau SauMy name is Sau Sau (秀秀). I'm a real spitfire even from a young age. That's why HFHD decided to send me to boarding school to get some training. The master trainer says I'm actually really smart and quick-witted. After just two weeks of training, I've already transformed into a lively and energetic furry friend. I love playing with people and my furry mates, and I've even learned all the basic commands. Yea, I haven't found my forever home yet, and I'm still waiting patiently. |
Little CreamHi, I'm Little Cream (小忌廉), a refined elegant lady. I might be a bit shy at first, but I'm super sweet and love to give lots of kisses! Right now, I'm working hard to find my forever home. I really hope all you kind sponsors out there can help me by giving me treats and chew toys. With your support, I know I can find my perfect mom and dad soon! I'll keep doing my best. Wish me luck! | MomoI used to have owners, but they were elderly and sadly hospitalized. Without them, I had to wander around looking for scraps to eat. Then, April from HFHD swooped in and brought me back to the shelter. Now I’m 15 years old and have cataracts, which leaves me almost completely blind. I’m just a simple old guy. As long as I have food, I’m a happy camper. I don’t really expect anyone to adopt me, but I’d be so grateful if you could consider sponsoring my care. This way, I can enjoy my golden years | Granny On OnI’m a 15-year-old stray dog who was dumped by my owners and ended up living on the streets, relying on villagers for food. One day, while walking slowly, I was hit by a car. Thankfully, April rushed me to the vet, where I was found to have serious injuries—external wounds, a tooth infection, swelling in my belly, heartworms, liver issues, anemia, and tick fever. After years of loving care, I’m all better now and living out my golden years at the animal shelter. Thank you for sponsoring me! |
Yuet YuetI'd been roaming the streets of the New Territories since I was a pup. Scrounging for food in the garbage, sleeping on sketchy patches of ground - just surviving. And with all my breedings, my little ones just keep disappearing on me until I got pregnant again, my angel April took me to HFHD. I ended up having 6 adorable little ones at the shelter. They've all found homes now, but I'm still waiting on my own. I really need your help with sponsoring me. Anything you can do would mean the world! | Little Jing JingHi there, I'm Little Jing Jing (小晶晶), you might not have heard of me before since I was one of the very first dogs rescued by April sis, even before HFHD was set up. I'm really lucky to have grown up here, without ever having to live on the streets, and I've made so many friends too! I just wanna say a big thank you for your kind donations that keep the shelter going and allow them to help even more furkids like me. It really means a lot! Muah muah! | Tin LokI came to the shelter back in 2020, and I gotta say, I'm loving the life here. Before that, I was stuck in a cage for 4 whole years, getting mistreated. It's really awful that I couldn't even stretch my legs and paws - it was pure torture, man. So I ain't too keen on strangers, you feel me? You guys really changed that for me. Your support made me realize there's a whole lot of people out there who really care about lil' ol' me. It means the world and I really appreciated! |
SueyI'm SaSa's little sister (not from the same litter). I'm really lucky, because when my mom Hei Hei came to HFHD, I was already in her belly. So I was born with everyone's love and care - I'm so fortunate. But what I really want the most is to have my own home, with my own bed, toys, and family. I'm still waiting here for a family to take me in. With your blessings, I'm sure I'll find my forever home soon! | TigerThey always call me the Big Baby Tiger for ya! I haven't really seen much of the outside world for 4 years. So when I first arrived HFHD, I'd get super nervous going to new places or meeting strangers. The thing I'm most scared of is anyone touching my poor little butt that's still healing. Luckily HFHD has been teaching me manners and helping me slim down, so now I'm back to being the cute, sweet Tiger everyone loves! I gotta eat a ton to stay nice and plump, you know? | SnowyHey, I'm Snowy and I'm two years old. My sister Suey and I are twins - all our other siblings were adopted when they were little. It's just the two of us left. We've been to so many adoption events and everyone says we're great, but we still haven't found the perfect family yet. While I'm still waiting for my forever home, your support means everything! Love you all! |
NanaI’m Nana, one of the warehouse doggies in the New Territories. It was a struggle to find food and shelter before HFHD took me and my four furry friends in. We’ve been living here for almost three years now. I’m definitely the most timid and cautious around new people. Even after special training, I still get super nervous meeting strangers. I’m still dreaming of my forever home, but for now, HFHD feels like my little doggy family. I’m so grateful I can live comfortably and build my confidence. | RubyHey there, I'm Ruby and I've been at the animal shelter for about 3 months now. My little sister Tuesday actually got adopted really fast, but I'm still waiting for my forever home. I'm a super energetic and outgoing doggy, always ready to play. I'm gonna keep working hard to find my perfect mom and dad. Thanks so much for your support - it's a huge help in making sure I don't have to end up back out on the streets! | Sa SaHello, I'm Sa Sa. Me and my mom Hei Hei (喜喜) came to the shelter back in 2022. I was just a little pup then, but I was really struggling with my eyelashes growing in wrong and irritating my eyes. Needed some eye surgery to fix that up. But get this - the vet said the surgery won't just help with the irritation, it's gonna make my eyes look even bigger and cuter! Can you imagine? Mom's already got her new forever home, but I'm still waiting on mine. |
I'm the oldest resident at the HFHD shelter, and I'm 17 years 'young'! I love going on walks and exploring the neighbourhood. I'm actually doing pretty great - I had a tumour removed a couple years back, and I'm still getting around just fine. April's promised to take me out and about more often since I'm still nice and spry. Being an old-timer, I do have some medical expenses that add up. I'd be forever grateful if you could consider sponsoring my care so I can keep enjoying my golden years | MaryI'm a super cute and chubby little pup and the training director at HFHD. When I first arrived, I was skinny and bony, battling infections and health issues, including heart problems from worms. I went through many treatments to recover. Thanks to April, who cared for me day and night, and all the kind donors showering me with love, I finally got better! Now I’m living it up—eating like a champ and walking confidently without worrying about the weather or food. | LuckyI’m Lucky, a super white dog! Because of some crummy experiences, I used to be really scared of guys—I would take off running whenever they came around. Thankfully, the volunteers here are so loving, and I’ve started to warm up to everyone’s affection. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was scrawny and always hiding in the corner. But with this awesome environment and good food, I’ve packed on the pounds! I’m so grateful for everyone’s sponsorship and support. |
HeheI’m one of April’s favorites—I'm her beloved Hehe the Shiba Inu! Why? Because I love her to bits, even if I’ve chomped her up pretty good a few times. Once, I even damaged her nerves, leaving her with some permanent effects. I know I messed up, but sometimes I just can’t help myself after being locked up by my previous owner for 9 years. April’s done everything to help me—she’s brought in trainers and even tried sending me to boarding school. Some bad habits are just hard to shake. | HappyWoof! I'm the real superhero of HFHD. About 2 years ago, there was almost a terrible fire at the place where all my furry friends and I live. But I'm no ordinary dog - as soon as I saw the smoke, I sprang into action! I quickly jumped out the window and leapt over the tall fence to go tell madam. Thanks to my quick thinking, everyone at the shelter was safe and unharmed! I know I totally deserve some extra treats for being such a good boy and looking out for my pack. You're the best! | EasonWhen I was 6 months old, I got hit by a car and ended up seriously injured. After leaving the hospital, I stayed with incredible April to recover, but that took over 1.5 year! In the first few months, I could barely do anything but eat and use the bathroom. I felt like a lifeless doll—not moving, playing, or smiling. The trauma was too much to talk about, and I don’t think anyone understood how bad it was. I’m so grateful to be at HFHD. I honestly don’t know where I’d be without your support! |
B 仔I'm B Zai (B仔) and I'm 2.5 years old. One night back in 2023, my owner tied me up under a lamp post and just left me there in the dark. I was so confused and scared, but luckily some kind strangers found me and brought me to HFHD. At the shelter, they gave me lots of food and a big comfy bed, and showered me with so much love. I'm really grateful for all the support that allows places like HFHD to help abandoned animals like me. Thank you everyone! | AlooYo, I'm Aloo - the wingman to the one and only Ali over here at the shelter. Out of all the 'A' s pups, only me and Ali ain't got a home yet, but hey, no biggie! We're living it up at the shelter, playing with our buddies all day long. Big thanks for your support, keeping the funds coming so the shelter can take care of us pups still waiting to get adopted. Gotta keep us looking nice and healthy, right? Love you, mean it! |
