To the Owners Still Healing from Pain:
Reason for Adoption:
Last summer, our 12-year-old wolfdog Max suddenly left us due to an acute illness. We found it hard to accept at first, and coming home every day was very difficult. After some time, we felt the need to move on. Despite the reluctance and sadness, we wanted to channel our love for Max into some dogs that also deserve to be loved. We hoped to receive love from them in return to help heal our pain. By chance, we came across a post from the shelter and learned about April. After understanding the situation, she introduced us to a seven-month-old puppy named Momo (now called Noddy). When we first met at the foster home, Noddy was completely unafraid, very enthusiastic, and seemed to know us. So, we decided to adopt him that very day.
Feelings After Adoption:
Since we had never raised a dog from a few months old, we were a bit worried about handling him at first. However, Noddy was truly well-behaved and easy to manage. He was much calmer than we expected. He adapted to our home in no time, as if he knew this was his home. His personality is fantastic, and he has no behavioral issues. Every day, he shows his natural goofiness, which makes us laugh. We are genuinely grateful to have encountered such an angelic dog who gives us unconditional love. We also thank the shelter for giving us the opportunity to love Noddy. We never felt like we saved Noddy; on the contrary, it was Noddy who saved us. We hope everyone can adopt instead of buying, using life to impact lives.
